Played through casual first, just finished up normal. Been playing on and off. I'm workin' my way up to brutal. I just finished Utter Darkness on Brutal... and received all the achievements during brutal. Dear god I want my life back. 40 minutes of pure micro management. What an amazing yet incredibly masochistic level to finish. Onward and upward! 6 Missions to go I think. -------------------- |

I enjoy the multiplayer a ton. I'll just mess around and try silly things against people. One of my favorites is being protoss, rushing a drone out to the other base and setting up photon cannons ASAP right outside/behind their base. =D

Finished SC2 campaign, everything on brutal. I rate the game as an 85 out of 100. Why? Because there are several piss poor upper level management decisions that should have made the game much more complete and finished. Instead we now have to pay 300 dollars for the entire game (and will end up paying for it due to multiplayer having tweaks that -demand- you purchase the new campaigns) as well as a lack of clan and chat lobby support. The game is also horribly balanced in multiplayer and unfortunately the Zerg seem to be vastly underpowered. Ironicly, I fail at defeating Zerg in multiplayer... [Content removed]ing bugs!
Anyway, here is my SC2replayed.com profile. SC2 Replayed - Tibian Will probably get promoted to platinum league tomorrow. -------------------- |

I'm replaying the original SC and Broodwars at the moment, I'll probably try SC2 on Brutal once I'm done with these.

True, but I felt I contributed something by saying that.
I'll have to try Brutal play to give a proper critique but I don't see why people are raving about the game. It's alright but it's not incredible. I'd say the original was better because that was the game that introduced the stories behind the races. I like SC2 but at the same time I expected more from the hype. I don't play multiplayer either so that may be one of the reasons I'm not in love with the game. I may give it a try but I don't think I'm fast enough with the keyboard to compete. |

One of my favorites is being protoss, rushing a drone out to the other base and setting up photon cannons ASAP right outside/behind their base. =D TOWER RUSH! I always tower rush in blizzard games. And the one infamous time I didn't, it was during a lecture where me and my friend were playing wc3 and I guess we were making noise with our micro, and the prof had stopped talking and was staring at us for like 2 mins but we didn't even notice, we lost, and just as that happened I say "Shoulda tower rushed" and look up to one of the most embarassing moments in my life. From that day, "Shoulda tower rushed" became my catchphrase for when things go wrong. Girlfriends pregnant? Shoulda tower rushed. Got fired from work? Shoulda tower rushed, son. And so on. -------------------- "you know nexus? ya, I used to kiss a lot of deer butts in that game."

I'm personally playing the game for the story, for the most part. I suck at RTS games, but I'm starting to get a little bit better - I'm at 60% win rate against medium AI, with a partner.

Corath, that you?
![]() Wings of Liberty is awesome, but I still play broodwars from time to time. SC2 all about the short, 20 minute games - which is cool. But, I still miss the hour long games on the gigantic maps of BW -------------------- |

Watch your replays. It's getting big. I haven't really had time to climb up the ladder, plus I play zerg. Which we all know is underpowered. probably have like 100 rested points |
