There are some minor things missing from the current Walkthrough, likely because they've been added since the quest was initially created.
For instance, the Northern camp map has changed, so the route provided to the Rebel Ghost is not accurate (Also, standing near him will kill you, could be a good note to add)
Most importantly (or annoyingly), the walkthrough fails to mention that after you've been assigned to the northern camp (after the wine-serving business), the Ogre chef asks you for first a Meat scrap, then an Acorn, then Snake meat, and now Pork.
I've given up for the day, but I will continue to post these sorts of changes that I notice.

The quest hasn't been changed, the walk through has always been inaccurate.
Set aside from the hand mudfish part, there's nothing that should block you because you can't figure it out.

If you know who currently has the content that was on the old nexustk.net website, if it still exists. There was a correct walkthrough on there. Problem is I did that quests several years ago so I don't remember all the differences.
I'm sure though that 95% of any questions are solved with the hand mudfish part.

The old NexNet was managed by TSWulf and several others. I've received permission to include all of that information into Nexus Atlas. I didn't remember that it had the SOE quest in there but if you say so I believe it. The library tab in NA has a button of Nexfiles which is most of that material. Some of the other stuff is in armor, weapons, spells and items. I believe I have all of that old information and have updated whatever has changed. As I said, if you see anything that isn't correct just let me know. If you think it could be more accurately worded let me know. In my opinion, Nexus Atlas is here for the players, not for my pleasure (although I do love managing it). Another great site is Nexus Wiki. Some people has told me that their SOE walk through has been easier for them to understand.

I doubt it to have been in the NexNet site, since the quest came out when NA was already around.

QUOTE 4. Go back and click the Ogre Chef in the kitchen. He tells you that he needs a Mud fish to make Mud stew for a general.
List of items requested by the Ogre Chef: -Meat scrap -Acorn -Snake meat -Pork -Fine snake meat -Lean beef You don't have to bring any of these items. He will NOT ask you for a Mudfish but that is what he wants. He mutters about a Mudfish and that is the clue needed to find out what he really wants. You can fish for this item before you start this part of the quest. I would propose you change this to read: 4. Go back and click the Ogre Chef in the kitchen. He will repeatedly send you on errands requiring you to collect minor food items such as Meat scraps or Snake meat but you don't have to bring any of these items. While he WILL NOT ask you for a Mud fish, that is what he wants. He mutters out loud about a Mud fish and that is the clue needed to find out what he really wants. (NOTE: You can fish for this item before you start this part of the quest: Say "Mud fish" to Wim, the fishing NPC in Buya. Then fish with the 1000 coin rod and 500 coin bait options until you catch a Mud fish. It is rumored that fishing as close to midnight (00 hour) will increase your chances of catching this elusive fish)I think it would be a little bit clearer, and since there's no benefit to doing the Ogre Chef's errands there's really no need for the complete list of items. In this case, direction 5. can be removed, and the rest renumbered accordingly.
