I did not 'regret' my actions because I was branded. As King Mhul's letter states, Phoenix did this to warn the Hausson Army and Salguod. Notice in my apology letter I specifically said that I was not apologizing to the Hausson army or Salguod. The original point for this entire event was to do as I stated I would if Salguod Interrupted my investigation, he did so I burned Hausson. It was NEVER intended to be an act of war, to go against Mhul in any way.
I stand by the original reason I burnt Hausson. I didn't 'realize it was a mistake'. I apologized because my intention was never to offend Mhul, the KRA or Oceana, as I stated in my apology.
This is a roleplay event created by a clan (omg yes clans can do RP events). Please don't butcher it. I may have expected it from Erii, but not you Vini.
Seems confusing enough.
I don't blame any of them for reporting on this "roleplay" wrong.
We told Erii the reason for our actions, called her into our clan hall to clarify and still it was a bias report. The posts from the main contributors to this event make it clear what happened, why it happened etc... everything else is assumptions. I don't want to be mean about it, I just want to news to be reported correctly.
I am appauled by Nexus Atlas, Vini and Erii for their gross incompetance in reporting this event. Why was my letter of apology not posted with King Mhul's letter to Lasahn? I did not do this because I felt remorse from a red mark. Cmon, read the event if you are going to report it or ask someone involved. Phoenix even called Erii in to clairify what the event was supposed to be. She basically said that 'if you aren't going to be nice to me im not going to post the news correctly'. We aren't going to kiss her hind end so that she reports things accurately. We shouldn't have to.
I can send screenshots if you need evidence.
Post the screenshots here and I'll fix the news. I don't agree with the statement that news reporters should be unbiased. Hell we are players too!
I'll fix it Guerrund. I appologize for misunderstanding.
We're suited to make mistakes all the time and NA readers know how many times I've done it! Plently!
The most important thing although is to not take it personal, Guerrund is a friend and a former reporter of NA, not to mention a wonderful primogen and roleplayer.
We've been talking in game in order to fix the posts. If any cases like this happen again please contact me and I'll most gladly correct the information.
I'm not sure if everyone makes mistake, but I surely do. Most important for me is not to "never do mistakes" (because it's impossible due the amount of things we report), but mainly about admitting the mistakes and fixing whenever they happen.
Thanks for reading Nexus Atlas, it's a website made by player and for players.
Ok. I changed the text to: "Primogen Guerrund realized his mistake and expressed his regret to King M'hul" to "Primogen Guerrund made a public apology to King M'hul...".
Now seriously, I can't believe you make such a big deal about the wording up to a point of "asking us to report the news correctly".
The subject of the post is "Public Apology". Is it really a crappy reporting to understand that whe one "apologies" they are regreting their mistake? If you're apologizing for something you don't think it was a mistake nor regret it, basically your apology means nothing. Am I wrong again?
I apologize again for my mistake for assuming a "public apology" would mean "express regret for a mistake".
What do ya expect hes a shaman.. LOL..
I remember when I inaccurately reported a shaman event before I quit and had shamans coming to me telling me there was some nasty writing about me on the shaman board and I was never allowed to be a shaman thereafter LOL.. all because I innacurately reported a rp event.. ~shakes head~
The epitome of running april fools joke is Vini.
I had someone whisper me the other day, thinking that Hobart actually finished Woodlands diary armor... thanks!
