I notice that there really isn't too much information in regards to crafting on NA. All I see is one for Fishing, refining skills (just estimates for progressing through a craft, and gathering info), access skills, and one kinda for scribing/alchemy. Not too in-depth IMO.

So my suggestion is to open up a new section on NA dedicated to crafting.

- Gemcutting/Jewelry
- Mining/smelting/smithing
- Fishing/food prepare/cheffing
- Woodcutting/carpentry
- Weaving/tailoring
- Farming
- Scribing
- Alchemy

Pages could be complete with info on:

- How to do them
- Items needed (and maybe tips on how to gather them, llike in the refining skills page)
- Items received and what they are used for
- Estimates on progressing into a craft
- The breaking even point (if applicable. What level in a specific craft you need to be to gain profit)

I realize this might be low priority, but this is for the sake of building information.

and actually, I don't know how to chef/farm/scribe/alchemy, so I could use the info myself. D:

That's actually a good idea. I've made a couple of crafting pages and the Scribe's Mountain page has full information about scribing and alchemy. If you want to write up a nice guide, I'll post it.

Sure, I'll write something. I'll have pics and everythingggg

If you've written crafting guides already, which crafts should I make a guide on?

I'll give you ALL the information about jewelery that you need to know:

Don't Jewel unless you have about 400,000,000 gold with nothing better to spend it on.

No, I am not one of those people with 400m to waste.... I just didn't know any better. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE! tongue.gif

Me too. I heard you only needed 50m to make it as a jeweler. So far I've spent over 30m and I'm only adept. That means I better win a revels or story contest or give up on my poor investment.

Whoever told you that MEANT to tell you that you only needed 50m to make it as an ADEPT Jeweler. tongue.gif

But seriously....

There are a lot of people who will say "I gather my own ambers, gemcut them and then jewel them and I manage to break even or even profit and I'm only accomplished/adept/talented...... While they might see "profit"..... They fail to realize that they spend between 30-60 minutes hunting those 100 ambers/dark ambers... THEN they spend 5 minutes gemcutting them.... THEN they spend another 5 minutes jeweling them. Then they look at their gold amount after finishing and they see an increase of 1-15k.....

I'm sorry. Making 1-15k in 40-70 minutes is not profit. Time is money. Factor that in...!
They could have spent that hour hunting 200-300 ambers and selling them for MUCH higher profit...

Furthermore -- It takes HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of mixed Crafted Ambers to reach Master, not to mention Legendary.

Gathering, gemcutting and jeweling HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Ambers may not be impossible....... But I'd we'd all like to reach Master+ Jeweler before the year 2036... Right...? Or am I just crazy? tongue.gif
