Once again, sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section.

The general concensus on my crafting post seemed to be - don't do it, unless you're "gathering". While I thank all of you for your helpful information regarding that topic, unfortunately it was not the answer I was hoping for. I don't have much time for Nexus anymore and I want to have something that I can come back to once in a while and have some fun with/make some gold off of. Since crafting was a deadend in those regards, I've decided that soloing event caves might be a better choice. They obviously don't happen often, as we've seen lately. This is perfect - since I don't have much spare time. For some past events it has also been quite profitable to solo the lower level caves. This leads me to my question:

What level/stats and path of character are best for soloing event caves? Duoing could also be an option as I could make a Poet and double log, but soloing is preferable. It would also be great if the level/stats coincided with a Carnage or Bloodlust level.

Thanks!

Depends on the event... Mongols was best in caves 1 to 3, and there were a few other events that worked similarly. Some of the more recent events haven't been as good in those lower caves, but really you just have to wait til the event starts and see which cave level is best.

Whatever cave is before whatever lv65 is. Max that [Content removed].

Sell your experience for Might in a clan hall to keep yourself lowered.

Still not worth it btw.

Yan, this is the /only/ video game I play. For a couple reasons. One, it is simple and I know it well due to the fact that I started playing when I was young. Two, which stems from one, I do not have to waste countless hours playing it to have fun. I already know it. This is especially true with newer games such as World of Warcraft. I simply do not have the time to add a raiding schedule equivalent to that of a second job into my week just to have fun. Whereas, I can log onto Nexus for an hour a day, do whatever I choose - and have fun. If I do not have time to play one day, I do not miss out on anything. If I am not having fun, I just log off. I do not miss out on anything. Does it honestly annoy you that bad that I spend ten dollars a month for a little entertainment? I could turn this argument back towards you and the fact that you constantly lurk on these forums looking for an excuse to be negative. Someone who has not played this game in years but still follows the forums as much as you seems a lot more attached than I do. I do not care if you are at "work", it is sad man. Really, it is.

Back to the topic at hand, does anyone have an accurate event cave chart?

Im not saying you need to play a game that needs countless hours for "raiding" or whatever else thats time consuming. Even from a casual gamer's perspective there are plenty of simple games you could play to kill time on.

Its fine if you actually still find Nexus "fun". But frankly you really didnt sound like it considering how you had to make 2 f'ing topics basically asking us "how can I have fun in this game?" and "how can I enjoy myself while making money in this game?", which means you arent having much fun with it, which in turn I ask of you, why the *beep* are you still playing it? If you were actually legimately enjoying this game I wouldnt even care how much of it you play. But you clearly arent enjoying it as much as you'd like to be. Maybe you should do some reflection on that.

I'm sorry to hear that you find it sad that I happens to post on this forum to kill time at work, especially when compared to you who wastes 10$ a month playing a game you're not even enjoying nor have much time for. I mean, really?

Trust me, there are tons of more interesting forums and places I'd like to kill time in. Too bad those are blocked. I wouldn't even waste my time here otherwise. Beggars cant be choosers.

PS: Yes it does bother me that you're spending money on this little "entertainment". Its because of people like you that this game isn't and will never improve. Similarly, its because of people like you that crap companies gets away with crap products. Again, not to sound like a broken record but if you were genuinely enjoying this game for your money's worth, that'd be fine. But you clearly arent.

As Conro mentioned, level 64 seems to be a good level to max out. That should make you maxed cave 1, assuming the cave splits haven't changed the last time I checked. For max killing power, go for a level 64 warrior. The warrior's not much good in glory though.

An alternative is to make a Legends rogue. Sell some exp and max your stats for your level. They do fairly well in their cave but are also quite decent in carnages.

And also, I can't understand why people feel the need to bash others who come on the forums asking for help. If they're wasting their time on Nexus (which they're not if they're finding ways to enjoy the game), what does that make a person who posts on a forum complaining about people who waste their time on Nexus?

Level 40 is cave 2, level 70 is cave 3 i think, you slaughter cave 1 with Mil fork as a warrior tho.

If you want to just solo every once in a while whether it's in a cave OR gathering, a rogue is best! Rogues in low event caves are awesome! I keep one there just to grab the items you need for the quests anyway. You can't go wrong with a baby rogue...never. They are fun in carnage too.

@Ally

Screw that.

Warriors literally RULE Cave 1. Rogues hit rate is too low and they require too much effort. A Warrior with a military fork will rape anything in its path with no effort.

Actually id agree with Ally, get a rogue whos level 36 or something and they will rape the cave with invis/ambush. Tho they might stay in the cave for like 15 minutes after that... Hard to stay long when the cave cut off is lvl 40.

You know things are getting bad when somebody posts a question about playing NEXUS on NEXUSforums.com and they're greeted by trolls with '[Content removed] you, get a life'

But yeah, a warrior in event cave 1 is probably the way to go

Well what level can you sell experience at? I want a character that will be able to remain at that level permanently. I guess I could just die a lot? Does no one have an up to date event cave chart?

A rogue with amnesia will always have time to heal up and keep going so yeah a warrior in level 1 caves is the best but level 2 and up, go with a rogue.

Well just to clear this up, WoW isn't that complicated and wouldn't take that long to learn. Plus, there's no reason why you would be forced to raid if you got wow. You don't compete for top stats and top rank in nexus, why would you raid in wow? All you get from that is top teir items etc. There is plenty to do, collecting things, achievements, working on crafts that actually net a profit, joining a random dungeon (takes maybe 15-30 mins to complete?), joining a random pvp battleground, sitting around the main cities chatting (if you like doing that in nexus) etc. It's like nexus... only infinitely better.
Anyways, I used to think the same as you, just cba in general to learn a new game. But now I really enjoy wow way more than nexus. smile.gif

I know what you mean. I have played WoW, and I really enjoyed raiding back when I had the time. I just don't seem to enjoy the other aspects of WoW as much as I do Nexus, not sure why.
