Ive recently set up a website to promote G'oh Tournaments within the nexus community. I feel its something fun that a percentage of the community will probably get involved in since there are some hardcore G'oh players out there. The site features a ranking system for people that participate in the tournament and info for when the tournaments are. Not to sure about how to become an affiliate but i thought id give it a try. Check out the site and let me know what you think of my limited web designing skills.

I'm just a bit curious as to where the rules you play g'oh came from. ^^

From what I recall when I used to play quite some time ago the objective was to surround your opponent's pieces rather than connect 5, like so. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_(board_game)

Compared to the rules you use which is a variant of the original game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gomoku

Just a thought that came to mind after I read through your site. O.o

Just like everyone else that asks me, the G'oh we usually play in nexus is a variation from Go'moku or renju were the objective is to get 5 in a row. But in G'oh we dont allow pieces to go where they want they must connect to another piece. The game you refer to is known as "Go" as stated in the link, which is a territorial capturing game.
