Special Info:
Rumored to give a bonus to woodcutting skill

It is well known that this rumor is bogus. Likely it only exists now because of this listing on the NA page.

Any good reason for leaving it there?

Also, listed under Perseverance (hand item) is:

As it comes from I-Ching, this should read Diviner

You mean Fabled trowel on this one.

The only good reason I can think of is that there are still people who believe the rumor. Personally I prefer to use a myriad of other so-called "lucky items" to do my gathering skills. And yes they are lucky because I said so, not because I tested them. tongue.gif It adds to the immersion and makes crafting seem a little less dull.
I think the rumors (be they bogus or not) are a fun aspect of certain items and add to the lore of the game as a whole, why remove it ?

Nexus is a big example of how most governmental systems work (with a few differences, of course).

You're right, I do mean Fabled Trowel...

But I don't think I really approve of propagating rumors just for the sake of making crafting seem interesting....

The rumor about Fabled trowels was never about making crafting interesting...it was about making cash for Ranger guides. tongue.gif

I don't make cash out of them, never did. sad.gif

I think someone who packet-hacked into guide circle made cash out of them some time back though.
