I never said she used auto-dye. I said I have never seen an auto-dye that bad. This is true - her balancing is worse than auto-dye, by far. tongue.gif

MickeyLady's only problem is she so stubborn. She never listens to anyone else's point of view and if you happen to prove her wrong you're ignored. It's ridiculoius.

When I was selected as a host, I didn't know anyone except a former host (who wasn't friends with anyone, really).

They really don't pick favorites - it just happens that hosts have the same interests when playing Nexus as the other hosts.

I hated most of the other hosts, honestly, simply because a lot of them were control freaks who couldn't let the people have fun. It became a job for them, some weird e-job that didn't pay money except with the nexus pixel bars of gold (WE TOOK BRIBES ALL THE TIME GUYS)

I wish I still was a host because it was hilarious at how worked up people got over things like LOL WHO ARE THE TOPS TONIGHT GUYS DJRTYKOW IS WAYY YYY 2 GOOD 4 THE BLACK TEAM SWITCH HIM TO RED B/C LOL NITEHAWK IS ON RED SAME TEAM.

I find it insulting to claim that most hosts took bribes. (unless there is some sarcasim involved, that I am missing). While it wouldn't suprise me if there was an insulated case of it, I find it hard to believe it would have ever existed large scale.

Secondly, being a host - is in many ways a job. Especially the head posistions (division heads, and head host). Just because it is a job, it doesn't mean it can't be fun. But under many basic principles, it is a job.

I don't know who this WE is, but I never took a bribe, nor did anyone else I worked with that I know of. Hopefully you are joking because that is not something I would be bragging about if I were you.

Newsox, you might have taken bribes -- in which case I'm horribly disappointed -- but unless you can prove otherwise, this "WE" of yours is limited to, um, yourself. And maybe not even then, given that for all I know you're not really Newsox.

There are always people who try to bribe Carnage hosts. Something for any prospective host to think about, though, when they're deciding whether to accept or report that bribe: The person who offered it just might be working for me.

Something else about your post bothered me. Part of your job as a host is to pick the best teams you can. So yes, it is something to get worked up about. There is nothing like hosting a GREAT carnage with GREAT teams when even the losing team thanks you because they had a good time.

I realize that in the end even the best teams can still end up bad because there is always the unforseen factor but by what you are saying you didn't seem to really care to even try.

That's to bad because that means you missed out on one of the best parts of hosting and that is the satisfaction of a job well done.

Depending what you mean by bribe, no, that probably was not acceptable. If it was more of a joking bribe - (ie, the host wasn't actually compensated) - and giving an extra ffa round is within the guidelines of what a host can do in elixir - then its probably fine. But any receiving of compensation outside of the host pay - I would hope is strictly forbidden.

I don't think I can make it plainer than this:

If I ever get proof of one of my hosts accepting a bribe, the Rock will come as a relief when I'm done with them. If they're lucky, the worst that will happen to them is a Serious Other jailing, a lifetime ban of all their characters from Carnage hosting, and the contempt of the community. If they're not so lucky ... well, there are some old punishments I might remind Kru about. And the person who bribed the host won't get off lightly either.

Don't even offer pretend bribes. If they're something that could even possibly be taken seriously, you can expect a long and involuntary vacation from Carnage.

This is something I take very, very seriously.

What I want to know is what WW is going to do about Sindella. She talked big about how something like that was wrong but we have yet to see action.

You can find a current list of carnage hosts here.

A look at the memorable past as well, Here.

There are a lot of memorable, extremely great people missing from that list. I'll refrain from commenting on the ONE person on that list who decided to deceive and cheat us all... You all know who it is.

I'll be reforming Carnages.info shortly with pictures, host lists, fun carnage stories from the past and probably a place for players to post their own opinions on how things are currently going.

By the way, thanks for the AIM's, your support is much appreciated. I've shared your comments with my carnage staff as well.

Ok, well I guess Sindella was allowed to remain as a carnage host. Okie dokie! Whatever...

Sure looks like there were a lot more hosts in Drywater's day. Drywater, why arent you currently a carnage host? Will you be returning to the carnage department? I'm asking because you said you shared comments with your carnage staff.

That staff size was normal for years. I think it was actually a little bit bigger in the later years of my being head host - so we are talking 2000-2001 there

Airadine I no longer trust you, nor your sources of information. It now seems like you're trying to plot to gain something based on this screenshot...

Funny you associate with three people who left/removed from carnage dept. Moron.
