QUOTE (AceoStar @ Jun 11 2009, 02:03 PM) Pretty sure that was Linae you're thinking of Both did it. Linae was worse, though, because she should have never been in power to begin with. WildZ was a good general for the first year or two, then he stopped playing much and eventually screwed us over.

QUOTE (AceoStar @ Jun 11 2009, 05:03 PM) Pretty sure that was Linae you're thinking of WTH Im pretty sure it was WildZ, as far as my memory tells. Even then, isnt this extra late? I mean its WildZ > NightRaven > Chronno > AceoStar > Bullmunk > Erucolindo > Kirikka > MisterMage. All the bolded ones got their NPC in chronological order, so why go to WildZ now? And where's MY NPC AT!? You know, the one I demanded with the Fatal Ninja (Shadow tribe boss) NPC who takes care of booting cause its what I'd enjoy doing the most? =p Yeah I know it was a joke but it wouldn't hurt to make my dream come true, almsot everyone knows who I am in the BIA anyway (when I still played, just ignore the fact that i turned half of them into my minions while I make fun of the other half for not becoming my slaves) EDIT: Thanks Laren for clearing that up, I knew I wasn't crazy. QUOTE (Falaris @ Jun 11 2009, 05:35 PM) Also true, but I don't know how many of them buy round trip cross-atlantic plane tickets to go from the UK to America and mail them to girls saying "It is up to you if you want to use it or not to come see me."
Was to the girl I was married to in-game at the time.
-Falaris Wow, and I thought LinuxKiddy was bad.

WildZ NPC is old, I put that one in I didn't realize he was involved in the stealing though, I guess it goes to show that the winners really do write the history

QUOTE (Musoyan @ Jun 11 2009, 07:05 PM) Why do NPCs need to be named after people anyways? Need to get their name out there more?? I don't see a problem with naming an NPC after someone influential to the past of your organization. History and the culture of the game are good for the game. It is almost always people later on after that person has since stepped down into a "I'm going to hang around because of my past" stage do these NPC names get voted on or chosen, so it isn't about blowing up your own ego either. -Falaris

I still wanna know why "AceoStar" is this Brute barbarian BANDIT in the soldier quarters giving out minor quests =p
I thought he was a valiant knight in golden armor protecting the kingdom, lol.
At least they got Chronno's baldness right.
PS: Still waiting on YanDaMan NPC that randomly says "HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!", ty.

QUOTE (Brant @ Jun 12 2009, 01:31 PM) Server reset, Friday, June 12, 2009 The Nexus servers were reset with the following changes:
Fixed bug with younger players not being able to enter into training grounds.
Pyung didn't like to give the Participate feature to the players so some of the players and I gave him a pet to cheer him up. The pet now lets you Reincarnate (full mana/vita) and Observe. I do want to thank those players who helped me test the bug and pick out the new pet. Pyung seems very pleased.
The doors were blocked to SanSin's new room but those doors have been fix and now allow you into the room.
Minor map update was given to Phoneix's Nest.
Item shop has a new Golden hair potion, new shade colors, new Sun glasses colors and new woven bag colors. We have also added back in the pom skirt and pawe (girls) and the pom garb and paw (guys) for those of you who requested it. Enjoy!
-Brant I like this update. Very quick response for a few bugs (regardless of how small they are) and good work with the item shop for the most part. Good job KRU. -Falaris

-Brant Well, it didn't initially after the first reset but he went in there and got a few people to help figure out what the problem was. After he figured out what to do he let everyone that was there help pick out what type of NPC we wanted and what color we wanted it to be. He pleased a lot of sire people by putting this option in there. Did you ever think all these people from sire could actually be thankful for something? It was quite a sight to see a bunch of griefers thanking mug for showing up

It seems to me like the questing system revolves around flags. For example, you start the quest, you get that flag, you go talk to NPC X, you get the 2nd flag, thus allowing you to progress to the third step.
So, couldn't multiple NPCs all give the same flag for a next step theoretically without "coding?" I don't know, I'm asking, but this doesn't seem like a lot of work even if you were coding it. I don't program, but I understand how it works pretty well.
Also, that seemed like perfect English up until purposely making the last word "quest" singular rather than plural and leaving out some commas here and there.

I don't think grammatical errors count as engrish.
