Subpaths need more love too. We should have spells and items that actually benefit the community and hunting with our roleplay. AND THEY SHOULDN'T BE BOD! We work hard to earn those darn things.
Work hard to earn the hunting path items?
Uh, no. Those items were given to subpaths for
free, long before quota came out, by Grin and Kismet.
And as someone who has seen the creation costs for all these items, no, they aren't hard to make.
What your path Guides and Elders setup as requirements to get the items has nothing to do with KRU. If you are mad that you have to do a lot to get something that is lost so easily, blame your path leaders, not the company. They are the ones who add additional significance to those items.
Those items really aren't hard to make.

I believe Sa san is necessary to add some longevity to the game, but there needs to be more than just Sa san to really revive the game.
RP town......I don't know if a new town by itself can revive roleplaying, but I suppose it might help by giving people are small place to promote it...if it was structured fairly and correctly.
The big problem with roleplaying is not that there isn't anywhere you can do it, but that many people who are in charge of promoting roleplaying are not interested in doing it. The subpaths could do so much more if they changed their focus away from running carnival contests and back to interacting with one another in real roleplaying events. Believe me, if I had 120 people at my disposal, you would see epic things occurring. There is no excuse for why current leaders cannot get anything going other than a lack of interest to do anything. Despite how much I may like some current elders as people, that really is how I feel about it. I've done some investigating into this, and the only reason they don't do anything is because they don't try give a 110% effort to initiate anything.
If you are the leader of a group and have a great deal of power over these people (such as being able to remove people and change the rules) yet cannot get anyone to follow you, then you need to re-evaluate yourself as a leader and change your leadership style to be more effective. That is the bottom line.
I also believe the average player needs to have tools that will aid them in roleplaying without needing to be a member of a subpath....Non-Player Controlled roleplaying spells that anyone can learn.
