None Of My Character Images Display

Yeah... the "sig" picture with any of my characters portrait will not display, but other's do.

When I load the image in firefox, it loads an image that says the image url-link-to-my-character-name cannot be displayed because it contains errors.
In chrome, it just shows a not loaded image picture.

Event Information Bug

Don't know where else to put this, but if you look at the event information tab on a users page, and they haven't participated yet (like bloodlusts for me), it displays a division by zero error. I've seen this for other events too.

For each event I would do:

I moved the server location, so until we can get our domain name to point to the new server, please use the URL http://stataddict.bodhisanctum.com/. We'll be trying to get this situated ASAP to prevent confusion. I'll be keeping the old server up as long as I can, but tomorrow night NF signatures, and the redirect from http://www.stataddict.com will be unavailable.

Carnage Stats

Would it be possible to implement lists of each carnage/BL level?

For example Chaos List would list all characters that could enter the Chaos Bloodlusts (99-449,999/224,999) and put highest to lowest like other lists. Same for other levels...Ancients, Avatars, etc...

Level 50 Bug

Was wondering if you could fix the bug on there that shows people who don't show stats at level 50. My chongun Senti is nearly enchanted yet shows as level 50 on there (obviously I'm 99 by my legend marks). Any way you can do a level updater based on legend marks? At least it would put the posted level of those who don't show stats at higher then 50. Such as star/moon/sun/wind would set it to at least 66/76/86/96 respectively, and carnage host/assistant would set it at 99, so would any san trials done, and any other marks that require level 99. Just a thought that would help make them a bit closer to accurate, especially for chonguns since we're not allowed to show stats. (Which I"m working on getting that rule thrown out)

Tracking Crafts

I think it would be a great idea to see who masters what craft and if its possible how far to next craft? I don't know, I just loved the crafts feature in the old Stataddict the most. I'm not a big hunter at all, I do have an Ee mage but that isn't my main character.

Save Stats

So, back when I did the site last time, I had a few requests for this feature, but honestly, since it didn't affect me, I never got around to doing it

But now that I don't show stats for SP reasons, I have added this feature in. It only works on users who don't show stats, you can use my page as an example.

When looking at your stat calculators, you will see "Save Stats" link at the bottom, IF you don't show stats.

Type in your stats and click the Save Stats link. This will allow you to have the stats you typed in pre-populated next time you come back to the site. You can do this for any user who does not show stats, but it really only makes sense to do you own.

As a side note, this data is not being sent to the server, so no need to worry about me harvesting your stats. The estimator does a pretty good job of that already, ty Rokugo!

I was checking SA even thought the character pages haven�t updated in a week or something ><, and I noticed that it told me my stats to get to Sam even though I�m stuck at IL, I�m pretty sure this is new right? Or am i slow and haven't noticed it before.

User Image Updates

So, Im running into some problems with the execution time on the update scripts. Part of the reason for that is that Im storing local copies of the userpages and the user images on every update. Would anyone care if I updated the user images once a day or possibly twice a week?

You can see a list of your caves on the bottom of your user page. I used the old data I used to have for the cave levels, so Im sure a bit of it has been updated since the.

Beside the cave, is a list of the minvita - maxvita and mana for the cave. Let us know where we're off and we'll get it fixed.

Tracking

Okay. So yeah, we finally got Tracking up and running. You can view your current stat tracking data on your user page. For now, I don't need any input on the layout of the tracking table, it'll just distract me

Let me know if you see any errors with it. We'll show everyones stat tracking data for now, but once it's complete we will be reserving it for Addicts only. In case you don't know, become a stataddict by putting www.StatAddict.com in your nexus profile.

Exp Hunted/ Stats Gained Per Day

I wanna be able to see how much exp i've hunted per day and the stats i've gained. Also it was nice to be able to see how much others hunted per day and who the top 10 hunters per day were.

Signatures

So we're gonna be releasing signatures sometime soonish. I don't plan to get very complex with it (eg no configurations) but let me know the types of things you would like the default view to show.

We'll obviously hide values that arnt shown. So if you dont show stats you won't get a big 0/0 on your sig

Oh, and if you didn't know, these sigs will be dynamicly generated. So the content will always be up to date, this isnt an image you download.

Beta Release

With the fluctuating time that Berig and I have, we have decided to adapt an Agile development cycle, where we will be pushing you new features often, and let you guys find the bugs. Pretty much, thats an excuse for not having enough time to complete the project in its entirety, but not wanting to keep it from the hands of our fans. We'll keep up on the features and fixes. Our top priority is the tracking, but with the user pages down theres not much we can do.

Powerrank Estimation. We guess hidden power ranks for the top 1000 characters and add sorts on it.
True ranking. Unlike the old StatAddict, everyone is included in the lists. If you are a low level character,show your stats if you want to be accurately ranked. Don't be a wuss.

Powerlevel Estimate Calculation

Okay here's how we do it.

PowerLevel/PowerRank = (vita+(mana*2)

I get a list of everyone according to powerrank. Then I get a list of everyone in the top 1000 list.
I merge these two lists together and get a "True Rank" for all of the players.

From that point, I go through the ranks of people who don't showstats or don't have a userpage from low to high, and update each row based on the known value above and below.

My estimate now is very basic. We have two values the upperPowerLevel (known power at a rank above the player), and lowerPowerLevel (the reverse).

I am just generating a random value between the upper and lower values and returning the powerlevel there.

Currently, I have the maximum value set to 10million. This should give more weight to the top upper 8 or so who don't show thier stats.

My question is, do you guys think that it would be more "accurate" if I was to apply some sort of equation to apply the average gap between all known stats or something? Im not sure what sort of distribution I would need to try, maybe I should have done this last time when I was still in stats class Bring it on math kids, Im sure there is a smarter way to do this even provided the randomness of the data.
